The Haunting of Fox Hollow Farm

The Haunting of Fox Hollow Farm

In the early 1990s, Baumeister, a local business owner and family man, bought a quiet estate just north of Indianapolis on contract. Although never brought to trial, he was the prime suspect in the disappearance and murder of a number of individuals from the Midwest spanning two decades.

In 1996, authorities recovered more than 5,000 human bone fragments on the property from as many as 17 victims. Only five were positively identified. It’s believed that most of the victims were murdered in and around the home’s indoor pool.

Current residents and visitors to the property have reported unsettling feelings, unexplainable noises, and even seeing apparitions inside the house and around the grounds. Hoping to document some of what they’ve been experiencing, Hall filmed a paranormal investigation team, including psychics, a demonologist, EVP and visual specialists, as they investigated the 18-acre estate over a six-month period.

Paranormal documentary Ghost Stories 4 marks filmmaker Dan T. Hall’s final foray into seeking evidence of hauntings in Hoosier land. Peek into the spirit world through the camera lens as Hall and his team of investigators explore Hell’s Gate, the site of a legendary train wreck that some say doomed its victims to forever wander the tracks; Black Moon Manor, a once majestic homestead in Mt. Comfort that also doubled as a funeral home as hundreds in the community fell to a small pox outbreak; and tread in the footsteps of infamous serial killer H. H. Holmes, who rented a cottage in historic Irvington for the express purpose of committing murder. The voices captured from beyond are truly bone-chilling!

Paranormal Documentary Shows Where Ghosts Reside, Fear is Sure to Follow

When the living choose to seek communication with the souls of the dead, tempt fate by calling forth spirits in a state of unrest, tread where fear is sure to follow, they may find that all roads lead to Ghostville.

Filmmaker Dan T. Hall’s seventh paranormal documentary, Ghostville, premieres at the IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum on Friday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Hall again focuses his camera on the world of the supernatural, as he chronicles the exploits of paranormal investigators seeking confirmation from the other side. Follow these citizen ghost hunters first into the Glore Psychiatric Museum, which rests on the grounds of St. Joseph, Missouri’s, State Lunatic Asylum No. 2, which opened in 1874 and closed with countless tormented souls of former patients still roaming the deserted halls. The museum is filled with barbaric “therapy” devices and personal belongings left behind.

Then it’s on to Indiana’s own Owen County Home, built in 1878 to house the poor and the mentally disturbed. With a number of recorded incidents of violence occurring on the property, more than the walls are talking. Investigators have captured electronic voice phenomenon (EVPs), heard demonic growls and even been chased from rooms.

These ghost hunters — including psychics Marilene Isaacs, Cassidy Owens and Anara Whitebear; paranormal groups Living Dead Paranormal, Scientific Minds Paranormal and Night Stalkers; and investigators Jason Wilkerson, Jill Werner and Tim Poyter — have but one mission. Bring back evidence of contact with the spirit world. But once you’ve been to Ghostville, can you ever really leave?

Dan T. Hall’s other paranormal documentary credits include Central State: Asylum for the Insane, four Ghost Stories documentaries investigating haunted locations throughout Indiana, and last year’s Haunting of Fox Hollow Farms, chronicling spirit activity at alleged serial killer Herb Baumeister’s former residence. Hall and other Ghostville participants are available for media interviews. They can be reached at (317) 608-3753.
